My Story

 

I suspect there are not too many level 5 TEFL teachers who have worked on the firing deck of a Vanguard class nuclear missile submarine or built 32,000 computers in a day. Even less who have written for national magazines, taught dance or published over 50 books

So I can bring much more to my English lessons than grammar, vocabulary lists, or phonetics.

Learning English should be fun and interesting and that applies whether you are a beginner or an advanced student.

At the lower level I use a version of the direct method that focuses on being able to do daily activities such as getting dressed and making breakfast. After that we travel the world through pictures. Canada, South Africa, Poland and the remote islands of Scotland are all on the list

If you are at the C1 level we will work on a range of materials that prepare for the Cambridge IELTS, FCE and CAE.

Whatever your level of ability - the lessons won't be boring.
